Nominee's Accomplishments at the High School Level in Kentucky:
In 28 years as a high school coach, Kordes has led Assumption to 19 state championships and four national championships in volleyball. He reached his 1000th career win during the 2016 season and has sent numerous players on to the collegiate level (mostly Division I). Known as the father of volleyball in Kentucky, Kordes has worked to grow the sport for the good of all young women interested in participating.
